Song Of The Siren (Remastered)

ARTIST'S NOTE:

I remember being on a camping holiday in the Lake District in my teens with my girlfriend, Shelagh. Late one evening we were listening to John Peel on Radio 1, an avant garde DJ. He played a song called 'Song Of The Siren' by This Mortal Coil. To this day, it is one of the most beautiful and haunting pieces of music I have ever heard.

This image captures something of how I feel when I listen to that track - though I still have not solved the mystery of her pain or who she is calling to.
